Norwegian Chamber Network Gathers in Trondheim to Advance Digital Trade Facilitation
On 8-9 September, colleagues from chambers of commerce across Norway gathered in Trondheim for two days of experience sharing, professional discussions, and networking.
One of the key topics was the continued rollout and use of eATA Carnets, which received generally positive feedback from the Chamber of Commerce, the Norwegian Customs Administration, and freight forwarders.
Our Trade Document specialists Naila and Mallisa shared experiences and insights on behalf of Oslo Chamber of Commerce / ICC Norway.
A special thanks to B. Iversen Spedisjon from Trondheim, who shared practical insights and experiences comparing the use of eATA Carnets with traditional paper carnets. We also appreciated the contribution from the Norwegian Customs Administration, who presented their perspectives and experiences with eATA implementation.
In addition, we were pleased to welcome Ben Butters from Eurochambres, who gave an insightful presentation on current developments and perspectives relevant to the chamber network and international trade.
It is encouraging to see strong engagement from all stakeholders and a shared commitment to further developing and improving digital trade facilitation solutions.
