OCC/ICCN Welcomes Two New Colleagues: Sara and William
Oslo Chamber of Commerce / ICC Norway is delighted to welcome two new colleagues to our team, Sara Kosberg Bredin and William Tiller!
They will join our section working on commercial activities, membership, and external relations.
Sara holds a Master in International Governance and Diplomacy from Sciences Po in Paris and brings extensive knowledge on trade, geopolitics, and economic security. She has previously worked with EU advisory services to Norwegian businesses at Innovation Norway in Brussels and as a journalist. In addition, Sara brings broad experience in project management, communications, and events, including as President of the Junior Diplomat Initiative France and as production assistant in the festival industry.
“In Brussels, I observed first-hand the importance of framework conditions in opening market opportunities for Norwegian businesses abroad. At a turbulent and challenging time for international trade, I therefore find great purpose in OCC’s mission to help Norwegian companies succeed globally,” says Sara.
William also holds a Master’s degree in International Governance and Diplomacy from Sciences Po Paris, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of Oslo, specialized in economics and security. He has additionally gained practical experience with bilateral diplomacy from the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Riga, multilateral development coordination from the United Nations Secretariat (UN-OHRLLS) in New York and international trade from African Export-Import Bank in Cairo.
“I had a very good impression of chambers’ importance while I worked on Norwegian business promotion in Latvia and wanted to transfer my knowledge to a historical institution such as the Oslo Chamber of Commerce,” says William.
“What are you most looking forward to working at the OCC/ICCN?”
“I look forward to contributing to the future of OCC/ICCN, learning how trade shapes institutions and societies, and seeing where the organization can position itself for a future that is bound to geopolitically twist and turn in every direction. The membership pool is diverse, and I am excited to speak to as many people as possible to learn about the ins and outs of business and international trade from Oslo,” William answers.
“It is difficult to narrow down to one thing. I look forward to engaging with the rich network of partners and member companies of the OCC/ICCN both nationally and globally. I am also very excited to explore how OCC’s services can be developed further to adapt to the ever-changing conditions of the trade landscape. In that regard, I am also eager to join forces with the incredible team at OCC, whose expertise and practical insights I have much to learn from” Sara adds.
