International Forum and Christmas Dinner 2025
On Wednesday November 26, this year’s International Forum and Christmas Dinner, one of the Oslo Chamber of Commerce’s (OCC) signature annual events, took place in a beautifully decorated venue at Epicenter Oslo.
At OCC, we take this opportunity to bring together our member companies, embassies, and bilateral chambers, creating an international hub for business, learning, and networking.

In keeping with tradition, this year’s event opened with a series of expert presentations. We set out to examine the current global landscape from three key angles: security with a particular focus on the business community, finance, and geopolitics.
The evening began with a presentation by Anne Gry Ringen, CEO and founder of Crown Defenze. She has an extensive experience as a senior executive, entrepreneur, and security consultant. Her presentation offered valuable insights into security challenges and considerations within the Norwegian business sector.

Following Anne Gry’s presentation, OCC’s Christopher Vonheim led a fireside chat with Norwegian portfolio manager and co-head of the Stolt Explorer fund, Bernt Berg-Nielsen. Together, they explored the outlook for financial markets as we move toward 2026.
Closing the first segment of the evening, we welcomed former senior diplomat and ambassador to the United States, Israel, and Afghanistan, Kåre R. Aas. Aas provided us with insights into life as an ambassador representing Norway in strategically important countries, as well as his perspective on today’s political landscape and a look ahead to the future. He closed his remarks with an optimistic outlook and hope for the future of global development.

The event offered guests the chance to mingle and connect with new people.

Dinner featured a traditional Norwegian Christmas dish of pinnekjøtt served with mashed rutabaga and potatoes. For dessert, rice cream served with red sauce was served.

We would like to thank all our members and friends of the Chamber who joined us this year. Your presence and engagement truly made this year’s International Forum memorable.
