Widely known as your passport for goods, ATA carnets are now going digital. The new e-ATA Carnet App makes digital customs declaration and transactions possible – ensuring cross-border travel of goods easier, faster and safer.
The global transition kick-off is scheduled to start on 1 June 2026 from the EU, Norway, Switzerland and the UK. Other territories are expected to shift to digital procedures during the transition phase, which ends on 31 December 2027.
