Cecilie Myrseth met with French ministers in Paris to discuss trade, economic security and the war in Ukraine.

Today, Regjeringen.no reported that Norway’s Minister of Trade and Industry, Cecilie Myrseth, met with French ministers in Paris on March 31st.

 

Marc Ferracci, the French Minister of Industry and Energy, met with Myrseth to discuss a broad agenda. Key topics included European competitiveness, strengthening French-Norwegian business ties, Norway’s role in the EU space program, as well as the government’s newly introduced industrial strategy and mineral law.

 

The Minister of Trade and Industry also met with France’s Minister of Foreign Trade, Laurent Saint-Martin, to discuss customs and trade relations, economic security, European competitiveness, and the impact of the war in Ukraine.

 

Myrseth also participated in the Norwegian-French Green Industry Forum and held meetings with Norwegian businesses operating in France.
