ATA Carnet Course: How to Use It Effectively

Yesterday, we at the Oslo Chamber of Commerce (OCC) held one of our regular training sessions on the use of ATA Carnets. An ATA Carnet is a trade document used for the temporary export of goods across borders.

Our training sessions are open to both customers and members. Participants are given a comprehensive introduction to what an ATA Carnet is, how it is used, and how to apply for one. They also have the opportunity to ask our experts questions. We always allocate sufficient time for participants to raise specific challenges they encounter when travelling with a Carnet, allowing our experts to provide practical and informative guidance.

At yesterday’s session, we welcomed participants from a wide range of organizations, including Innovation Norway, Telenor, Oslo Shipowners’ Association, the fashion brand Julie Josephine, and the diving company Drammen Dykkersenter. This highlights the diversity of clients who rely on ATA Carnets when travelling internationally with their goods.
