A month with digital ATA Carnets!

It has now been nearly one month since the launch of the digital ATA Carnet. After a decade of work, several important milestones have been reached, including the successful launch and the first month of operation and use of the digital solution.

At the Oslo Chamber of Commerce (OCC), 117 digital carnets have been issued since 1 June. Our staff have dedicated considerable time to training customers in the use of the new digital platform and mobile application. We have conducted courses, provided telephone support, and offered in-person guidance at our offices for visiting clients. The feedback we have received has been positive, and users are generally satisfied with the new digital solution.

This autumn, we will be organizing additional group training sessions for customers and members who wish to receive further instruction in the use of the digital system. In the meantime, our team remains available to provide guidance by phone or during our regular office hours.

The national use of digital ATA Carnets

At the national level, 180 digital ATA Carnets have been issued. Of these, 60 have already been validated, covering 62 export transactions, 56 import transactions, 15 re-export transactions, 16 re-import transactions, and 1 transit transaction.

The top three destinations for exports from Norway are Sweden, Denmark, and Germany. In addition, digital carnets have been used for shipments to Poland, Finland, Switzerland, Italy, and Greece.
