On Norway’s National Day, May 17th, the International Chamber of Commerce Oslo/ Oslo Chamber of Commerce hosted a traditional 17th of May breakfast, inviting our expat community and their families to join us for a cozy, traditional breakfast.
Norway is a remarkable country, but with a population of just 5 million, our continued growth and prosperity rely on attracting international talent to join our workforce. We are truly grateful that so many bright and accomplished individuals choose to spend part of their outstanding careers here in Oslo and across Norway.
At our location in St. Olavsgate 27 in Oslo, the tables were decorated with Norwegian flags and flowers, and guests were served traditional Norwegian kransekake, cream cake, and breakfast. It is said that the Norwegian national anthem was written in our building, making the celebration all the more fitting.
