This Year’s Last Global Economic Outlook
Every quarter, the Oslo Chamber of Commerce, together with Danske Bank, hosts the breakfast event Global Economic Outlook. The event brings together our members, fellow chambers of commerce, embassies, and other business professionals for expert insights and a light morning meal.
At this morning’s event, our speaker raised an important question: “What will the world look like as we enter 2026 and beyond?” We were joined by Andreas von der Heide, co-founder of Consilio International, who delivered a masterclass in history, game theory, and geopolitics. One of his central messages was unmistakable: “Take the world as it is—not as you wish it were—and prepare for increased turbulence in the near term.”
