Nordic Meeting 2025
Representatives from the Swedish, Icelandic, Danish, Finish and Norwegian Chambers of Commerce gather annually to discuss strategy, reflecting on the past and planning for the future, from a Nordic perspective. This year, the Oslo Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of hosting the annual Nordic Meeting, welcoming delegates from the Danish and Finnish chambers.
A key topic on the agenda was the digitalization of the ATA Carnet, an international customs document that simplifies temporary export and import of goods. The discussion focused on the challenges of implementing digital carnets as well as the opportunities this transformation will offer in terms of efficiency and accessibility.
The guest speaker, attorney Martin Berntzen, from Advokatfirmaet Bull shared valuable insights on current global tariff developments and how trade relations between the EU, the United States, and other global actors affect the Nordic economies.
Once again, our annual gathering emphasized the continued importance of Nordic cooperation in addressing shared challenges and promoting smooth and sustainable international trade.
